JP Controls Consulting is managed by Shyam Prasad, Director
Shyam is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK).
He has both external and internal audit experience having been employed earlier with two of the Big Four accounting firms – EY (Qatar) and KPMG (India) and a major multinational company (ExxonMobil Singapore).
As an internal audit professional in the Corporate Audit department of ExxonMobil, Shyam has participated in/ led internal audits of affiliates in Japan, Australia, China, Malaysia, Thailand, India and other countries in Asia-Pacific.
Shyam was the fractional Head of Audit of a company in Qatar (Middle East) beginning in 2016 and until its 2023-listing on the stock exchange.
He works on interim, contract and project-based assignments as a remote consultant in the internal audit/controls space.
